Currently we are using NetMeeting for our video monitoring needs. This works program well for video, but audio quality is poor. From Indialapolis, we monitor streaming audio/video from San Diego and Denver.

We need a real time quality audio streaming solution over a WAN. Streaming delay must be minimal to meet our needs.

You may want to take a look at AudioTX Communicator (Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register). AudioTX Communicator is capable of creating a low-delay PCM audio connection over any IP network. If the WAN does not have enough bandwidth for PCM then you can also use MPEG audio compression – this will add some coding delay to the total transmission delay, but it may still have less delay then the NetMeeting video stream.

From the Multimedia File Viewing and Clickable Links are available for Registered Members only!!  You need to Login or Register website you can download a demo version that has everything that the full version has – it is only time limited. This gives you the opportunity to really test how AudioTX Communicator performs with your application.
