Zephyr not framing on cdq Prima Codecs (Read 8181 times)

Trying to connect from S.Africa to UK from a Telos Zephyr to a CDQ Prima codec and got as far as the Zephyr hearing and locking with the Prima but the Prima not hearing us and also not framing.

Is the problem with the Prima and how can one fix it?Settings, L2 Mono TX and RX, 48 Khz and 64 Kbps HELLLLLLP ?

The problem is most likely that the CDQ Prima is set in “decoder dependent” mode – in this mode it is not compatible with the Telos unit.

To set the Prima in the Telos compatible “independent mode”, go into the “Decoder->Indep” menu and set it to “yes”. The settings of the decoder should then still match the encoder.
