Morning!
I have a CDQ Prima 110.  The mains electricity went off, since when my Prima won't boot up. Initially, the visual display showed activity but pressing buttons did nothing. Now, the display is totally blank; when I switch on, there is a high pitched signal and the green light on the wall socket flashes. Any ideas as to the problem VERY gratefully  received!

Thanks

Morning!

Sorry to hear this - to me it sounds like something inside did not survive the mains failure. It could be the power supply unit, but that is hard to guess. This may be due to a spike in the supply when the mains failed, but considering the age of most of these units it could well be that it would have happened the next time you powered it on..
